We are campers. I’m not sure when it exactly happened. We’ve lived in Colorado for 20 years. At first we scrapped and scrapped to make
it. We found 9 to 5 jobs and had
vacation. 10 days. It is not a lot of
time when you live 800+ miles from families that you love and cannot wait to
see again. Therefore, we would leave our
new home and visit our old home; that was our vacation.
Goin' For Fun!
We only get one ride on this big blue marble. So, hop on with your family and go-go!

Should I stay or should I go?
Here's the question. What do you do when you don't go camping?
My answer: TOO MUCH!

The long and winding road......
This
warm spring weather has me ready to jump in my car and take off. I don’t even care where we go!
That
being said, we are getting excited about a road trip sprint to Missouri. We’ll leave next week one day after school and
be back home within 3 days. That is for
sure an 880 mile sprint. That’s a long
way for a weekend but we have a great reason for our adventure.

Make sure you see.....
Our family on CA State Park beach FULL of sea life in tide pools. Amazing! |
In my last post I mentioned I am a control freak. It is true. However, now that I am home from our latest adventure I have learned that I have improved. I think they call this growth.
I bought the book to tell me how to see Disneyland. Where to eat, what to ride and what order to ride it all. I read it. All of it. Actually, it wasn't as horrible boring as one would think. It was helpful. I was armed with knowledge.

It's the journey.
I am a bit of a control freak. Always have been. I thought I was the only one but apparently there are a lot of us out there. So, hopefully you understand why planning the trip is ALMOST as much fun as the trip itself.
